Parent Council Campaign

Send a letter to your Parent Council/PTA about single sex toilets in schools

Along with one of the feminist groups in Scotland, we have developed a letter to send to your schools Parent Council.

We are concerned that some Local Authorities and schools in Scotland have been changing single sex facilities such as toilets into mixed sex and claiming this is inclusive.

This is not legal in Scotland. It also increases risk, removes safety, privacy and dignity for all children and most of the time parents/carers or pupils have not been consulted.

We are asking as many of you as possible to download our letter, amend as appropriate and send a copy to your PC/PTA.
